JULIE KALIMIAN, FOUNDER AND CEO

Julie is a former Vice President of Marketing for Newsweek magazine. She spent more than 15 years working in print and online publishing including positions in sales, marketing and business development for Conde Nast, CNET and Newsweek.

When she is not taking care of her four young children, she is hard at work at SkinnyShirt.

ALEX SHUMAN, DESIGNER AND CREATIVE CONSULTANT

Former Vice President of Women's Collection Design for Michael Kors, Alex spent over 16 years at Michael Kors working in design. She has also spent time at Donna Karan in Women's Collection.

She is currently working as a creative and design consultant in between her time with her husband, four-year-old son and her nine household animals.

Alex is very committed to her family's not-for-profit organization Publicolor, which works with NYC's at risk youth.
